Well the good news is it does go away but it felt like months for me. As for biting your tongue, that is going to happen, and happen a lot. I rinsed with warm water and salt for a month.

I was told by my dentist it’s called “parasethesia”, and it can last up to six weeks, rarely longer. (my luck, I’ll be in the “longer” category) Just got my tongue (and half my face) froze up on Friday, Halloween. I didn’t intend to dress up as the elephant woman, but I sure felt like I looked like it!!! My face unfroze by the end of the evening, but apparently, I’ve got awhile to go before all the feeling in my tongue comes back. It sucks!! I totally get the corn chip feeling. It’s maddening!! I answer the phones in my office and right now, it’s an ongoing struggle to make sure I don’t bite my tongue and swear.

It’s really an expected shame because “do follow” really helps honest webmasters and bloggers, but of course… like everything else net related… the spammers flood in.

I have received a email from Chu Chan with exactly the same wording. It seems that he is changing his email addresses or aliases. He used the following email addresses with me chuchan_333@yahoo.co.kr and ch.chan2@googlemail.com.

There is a similar email under the name of Mr. Robert Edwards [also from Korea] doing its rounds. I wonder if Edwards and Chan are related? It seems that these people are targeting businesses all over the world.

I have the same issue as some of the people above. I have been running IE7 on my laptop, which has Vista, for the past year. Yesterday, a Google toolbar appeared on my IE7 page and the system slowed to the point where I could not even close the window. I went to Tools, Inet Options and Disabled the Google toolbars and the system returned to Normal or Better.

Spammers ruin life for everyone (but themselves). It’s bad that you had to go to all the work to delete the comment spam. It’s bad that every link needs to be “no follow” to somewhat discourage the spammers (though in my experience they continue to post comment spam and forum spam even if the links are no-follow).

I, too, hope that Google stops penalizing you and let’s you get back to normal (minus the spam).

Yes, you have taken a good step, what about those who wants to contribute good information on your blog, i think they should get a decent link atleast. So, if you check that before approval, it would be good than removing do follow tag.
