    I mentioned my lack of “friends” on MySpace to my southern belle, and she asked, “Aren’t your friends all into computers?”

    “Yeah, but MySpace is a social network, Amy. Computer geeks aren’t social.”

    Don’t feel bad, Shandy. I’m joining facebook.com. I had to write my university alumini office and request an .edu email address to get in facebook.
