[...] Last night I posted a quick blurb about Myspace being down. Who knew this was a sore subject to write about! As I posted previously I had heard on the news that Myspace had overtaken Google with the number of hits they receive daily. When I went to visit this site last night, it was down. I was thinking a server outage for a company worth 100’s of millions of dollars could not be good. Apparently, some “Diggers” felt differently. I can understand people not caring about your post, but who really needs to hear “Get Cancer” “God damint who the f**k cares.” “And the fact that your wife has a MySpace account should disqualify the two of you from procreating.” “ya u suck at the digg , give up” [...]

You would think after AOL, EBAY, MSN, etc. got a lot of bad press from "timeouts" due to shortages of servers myspace could have seen this comming and prepared for it better. I too have thrown my hands up in disgust after being stalled with multiple "timeouts". Cheap Murdoch is gonna kill myspace. I am sure he hates people having a platform for free speach. He wants to control all the media anyway. So enjoy myspace while u can.

I signed up a few days ago to be able to introduce myself as a concept to some friends of the girl I'm dating, but it's been at least partially broken for some time on each of the past several days.

I know that the file extension on most of the site is .cfm, but I sure as help they're not really running a huge site on Cold Fusion, which sucks complete ass from a server guy's perspective.

I don't understand why News Corp hasn't dumped in some dough to make it work better.
